# What to Do When the Cricut App Will Not Open

If **Cricut Design Space** will not open or keeps freezing, try these fixes in order.

## Quick fixes

**1. Check your internet**

The app needs a working internet connection to load.

**2. Restart the app**

Close it fully, then open it again.

**3. Restart your device**

A restart clears many temporary problems.

**4. Update the app**

Install the latest version of **Cricut Design Space**.

**5. Reinstall**

Uninstall the app, then repeat the **Cricut Design Space download** from the official site.
