# Set Up Your New Cricut Machine

**Cricut.com/setup** is where you start setting up a new Cricut machine.

## Before you start

* Your Cricut machine and power cable
* USB cable or Bluetooth
* A computer, phone, or tablet
* Internet connection

## Setup steps

**1. Unbox and plug in**

Remove the packaging, connect the power cable, and turn on the machine.

**2. Visit the setup page**

Open **Cricut.com/setup** in your browser and choose your machine model.

**3. Install the app**

Install **Cricut Design Space** when prompted.

**4. Connect your machine**

Connect with USB or pair over Bluetooth.

**5. Finish and test**

Follow the prompts to register your machine and make a test cut.
